The 2021 World DJ Festival (WDJF) in Seoul, South Korea, was an experience that enabled ravers and music enthusiasts to enjoy the festival fully contactless. From October 9th-11th 2021, viewers could follow the live event both in Virtual Reality as well as in Augmented Reality. The festival was streamed in an immersive 360 environment to maximize the festival experience using Tiledmedia’s technology in 8k VR360 with the LG U+ VR service.
With 44 of Korea’s talented DJs, an array of EDM, Dance, Dubstep, Techno and more, was mixed and broadcasted live. Both individual DJs as well as collaborations performed live for viewers to stream from home, giving people the chance to (virtually) attend festivals again during the times of the pandemic!
